Based on a true story.
I believe that James Joyce's sole purpose in life was to leave a legacy that would forever torment the earth. Obvious super-villain type stuff. So are the people who read and enjoy Ulysses the victims or the heroes in this endless battle against evil? The world may never know for sure.
Everyone should read The Dead though. Good stuff.
