I've discovered the secret of the universe. Are you ready to hear it? Whenever something annoying or terrible is happening in your life, make a comic about it. As soon as you're just a few hours away from finishing, whatever was bothering you will be all fixed!
It happened just a couple weeks ago when I was trapped in bed with a horrible allergy attack, and it happened this time with the terrible heat. Things have cooled down to a manageable level by the time this comic is posted. I'm sure it is but a brief respit from the unyielding flames of the sun, but I'll take it while it lasts.
I've got a crazy week ahead of me, but I'm sure I'll get some kind of update on my condition here for you next week. I'll see you then!
It is waaaaaaay to hot to make comics. To do anything, really. I was just trying to finish this page today, and was getting completely overwhelmed with rage and frustration! I was very close to breaking my tablet, smashing my scanner, and just tipping my whole desk over. It began to feel like I was just trying to survive this week. Not fun at all.
Oh well, see you next week, when everything will definitely probably be better. Or everything will be destroyed when I inevitably go into a heat-induced rage.
Ugh... Seriously. Why do trees have to try and murder me? I was safe for some time living in California, but now my arch-nemeses have returned.
I like this new inking brush though. Works pretty well! A few minor changes need to be made, but otherwise all good!
The problem with doing comics every week is that sometimes all that really happens to me is that I make a comic. That's when things get real meta.
On a seperate note, I've been changing up how I do my inks, and I've been experimenting a bit with some new brushes. I haven't got it quite the way I want it yet, but in case you were wondering why things were looking a bit different the last couple weeks, that's the reason.
Okay, until next week!
