The problem with doing comics every week is that sometimes all that really happens to me is that I make a comic. That's when things get real meta.
On a seperate note, I've been changing up how I do my inks, and I've been experimenting a bit with some new brushes. I haven't got it quite the way I want it yet, but in case you were wondering why things were looking a bit different the last couple weeks, that's the reason.
Okay, until next week!
I think that we can all agree that the only thing that could improve the fragile grace and poetry of Fellini's La Strada would be a couple bitchin' lightsaber duels. Maybe it could use a couple dogfights in space, but I have never been particularly fond of space battles. I've always preferred armed single-combat.
I would like to take this moment to advocate for everyone to watch more movies. I don't even particularly care what movies you watch. Just watch more, and keep an open mind with movies you may not think you will enjoy.
Also read more comics and prose.
Poetry too.
Man, the humanities are the best.
And would it kill you to go to the theater or a museum every once in a while?
Don't let me tell you what to do. Do whatever you think is right. Or do whatever you think I would think is right.
So I've been living in this new city, not really knowing anyone, and working exclusively from home. I think my brain was starting to atrophy. So I went back out into the world! Meeting new people! Getting to see art! Putting on pants and leaving the house! So many benefits!
I'm also grateful that I don't have to climb the "Rocky" steps everyday. Back entrances are always way better.
Seriously! So busy! Luckily it's with good stuff! I'm sure regular comics will resume next week though, not to worry!
