The lateness of this comic is obviously explained by the subject of this comic. I appear to be getting sick, but my body refuses to be actually sick, it's just in a constant state of "You're going to be sick tomorrow! Probably!"
Oh well, I live on. Well, I've got other things to catch up on now that I finally got this comic posted! Bye for now!
I actually enjoy doing all the spreadsheets and paperwork for self employment. It's a good change of pace when I get burned out doing my normal work. Now, tax forms and insurance applications, on the other hand, are the devil. They can burn in hell. Like the devil.
Does the devil burn?
I'm not really sure.
I've been watching too many cinematography videos on YouTube, and I reread Scott McCloud's Understanding Comics for the hundredth time. So obviously now I am compelled to push this medium to the limits! So much artistic value to be wrung from comics!
Seriously though, if you haven't read Understanding Comics and have any interest in creating or even just reading comics, please get yourself a copy and read! That's your homework for this week. Class Dismissed
Aw, man. I was SO excited for a snow storm here in Philly. I haven't had a good weather emergency since I moved to California many years ago. I was so well prepared to be stuck inside for days! Oh well. Now I just have a sweet gun! (I didn't really get a gun)
I miss having some kind of system to blame for my failings. There is no boss jealous of my abilities or corporate hierarchies maintaining the status quo. It's so hard to deal with only having myself to blame. Luckily, every tiny victory makes me so much happier and fills me with so much more pride that I don't think I could give it up for anything at this point.
